Trauma Kit Content Highlights

Your Complete Stop the Bleed Kit

ETQ Wide Tourniquet

The Snakestaff Systems ETQ™ WIDE Gen 1 is a rare first-run variant that combines expanded compression surface with the same lightning-fast deployment the ETQ is known for. Built for first responders, medics, and prepared civilians, this model delivers serious performance in a pocket-sized footprint.

  • Wider Compression Band
  • Compact Fold Format
  • One-Handed Application

Slishman Pressure Wrap

The Slishman Pressure Wrap is a highly versatile tool designed primarily for use as a pressure dressing. It includes a red slip sleeve forming a lasso that is easy to cinch and allows for application around an injured limb.

It can also be used to protect wounds, stabilize extremities, or to hold splints in place.

Light, compact, flexible and soft. Easy self-application, fits adults, children, and even pets.

Emergency Thermal Blanket

Multi-Purpose Survival Tool: Ideal for various emergency scenarios, including camping, hiking, and natural disasters. Can be used as ground cover, shelter, or to prevent hypothermia and shock. A good addition for camping or prepper gear and supplies.

Durable & Reusable Material: Made with tear-resistant Mylar, these blankets are not only durable but also reusable, ensuring long-term reliability for multiple emergency uses. Add them to your shelter supplies and bug out bags.

"Great product. This is hands down the very best kit I've seen yet. After spending many years in Special Operations with the Army, I had resigned myself to having to assemble my own First Aid kits that could do the job instead of some little band aid kit that wasn't much more than a first aid kit for a 5 year old. Now I can get a decent kit that will work in critical events when needed. Well thought out and put together."

- David Fidler

Hemostatic Gauze

A sterile, soft white 3 in. x 4 yds. Z-folded, non-woven gauze with X-ray indicator, and is impregnated with kaolin, an inorganic mineral that accelerates the body's natural clotting ability. This bleeding control solution creates a robust clot to control bleeding fast until medical support arrives.

Z Fold Compressed Gauze

4 ft of gauze dressing, standard for massive hemorrhage unlike the kits that just throw in a few 4x4 gauze dressings.

This compact, compressed Krinkle Gauze is vacuum sealed for reduced cube space in IFAKs or everyday carry first aid kits. The pre-washed, fluff-dried woven gauze is packaged sterile and is highly absorbent.

" This case has everything needed for treating serious trauma in an emergency situation where help is significantly delayed. And it does it in a small, inconspicuous package you can take anywhere (molle and velcro adhesion) without drawing unwanted attention to it. I can't wait to get one and never need it."

- Michael Burke

Add the Trauma Pill Pack

INCLUDES:

  • Moxifloxacin: an antibiotic
  • Meloxicam: for inflammation
  • Acetaminophen: for pain management
  • Ondansetron: Anti-nausea

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this kit suitable for trauma and major injuries?

Yes. It includes critical bleeding control tools like a windlass tourniquet, hemostatic gauze, and pressure dressings—making it appropriate for serious injuries in remote or emergency settings.

Is it organized or just loose supplies in a bag?

Each item is stored in an organized compartment within and some modules are labeled and separated in a zippered case, making it easy to find what you need fast.

How big is the kit and can I travel with it?

The kit is compact and lightweight, designed for portability in backpacks, vehicles, or go-bags. It complies with TSA guidelines for checked baggage but may contain scissors or tools that need to be packed in a checked bag accordingly.

Does this replace the need for a trauma or bug-out bag?

It complements both. While it doesn’t replace full trauma gear for professionals, it’s far more capable than most off-the-shelf kits, and integrates well into bug-out or emergency kits.

Can I use this if I’m not medically trained?

Yes. The kit includes step-by-step JaseAid instructional cards for key elements in the bag—designed to help everyday users respond confidently to common emergencies.

Can this kit be used for kids or older adults?

Absolutely. The supplies are appropriate for all age groups, though medication dosages (if combined with a JaseCase) will vary by person and require a separate prescription.

Why don’t you use a CoTCCC-approved tourniquet?

We chose the Snakestaff ETQ-Wide for its compact form, ease of carry, and high performance in real-world scenarios. It’s trusted by special operations medics and law enforcement, even if it hasn’t yet gone through CoTCCC’s formal approval process. We also include the Slishman Pressure Wrap as a backup, pediatric option, and versatile tool for junctional hemorrhage and splinting.

Is the Slishman Pressure Wrap a tourniquet?

It can be. While it’s not a windlass-style tourniquet, it has been shown to occlude arterial flow when used correctly, especially on smaller limbs, children, or pets. It also doubles as a pressure wrap, splinting aid, or securing strap, giving it broad utility in the field.

Does this kit include medications?

Yes. It comes with our Trauma Pill Pack, inspired by the military’s Combat Pill Pack. It contains adult-dose medications for pain, inflammation, and infection to be taken immediately after a serious injury, assuming you are awake and able to swallow. These are real prescription medications, not over-the-counter placeholders.

Are the medications safe for kids or pets?

No. The included medications are dosed for adults and should not be given to children unless instructed by a licensed provider. For pediatric scenarios, we recommend consulting your doctor in advance and carrying additional child-specific meds separately.

Do you offer training to go with the kit?

We are building that now. Instructional videos and community workshops are in development. For now, the cards included in the kit are your best first step, and we recommend practicing with the tools before an emergency.

Can I take this kit into the wilderness or on deployment?

Absolutely. This kit was designed by responders who work in austere, off-grid, and tactical environments. It is built to handle vehicle accidents, remote injuries, field trauma, and long delays before help arrives.

Is it waterproof?

The outer case is water-resistant and rugged. Critical supplies are packed in inner pouches to stay protected from dust and moisture, but prolonged exposure to water could still cause damage. For high-moisture environments, we recommend stashing it inside a dry bag.

Why is it better than other kits on the market?

The Jase Trauma Kit outperforms others by combining field-tested gear with real-world usability. Designed by medical and disaster response professionals, it includes high-quality tools for bleeding control, wound care, splinting, burns, and medications—plus our prescription Trauma Pill Pack. Everything is clearly organized and paired with waterproof instruction cards, so it works under pressure even for untrained users.
